IBM Whelwriter Typewriter Trade-Ins

We would be happy to accept your old Wheelwriter typewriter as a trade in when you purchase an IBM/Lexmark typewriter from Scantracker.

Depending on the model of your machine, it could be worth from $25.00 to $250.00. We will even have the trade-in picked up and pay the shipping charges.

After you have had an opportunity to use your typewriter for about a week, all you need to do is repack the trade-in in the same box that your newly-purchased typewriter came in, using the custom foam forms.

IBM Lexmark Typewriter Wheelwriter Trade In

Place custom foam forms on each side of typewriter. Press to secure typewriter firmly inside foam forms.

Place typewriter with custom foam forms in box. Be sure to place the typewriter in the upright position. Damage will result from shipping typewriters upside-down.

Place cardboard pieces lengthwise across top of foam forms, as shown. Close box lid and tape securely.
